Carol Reep Leaves Butler For NCAA National Office Position

Butler University athletic administrator Carol Reep has resigned her position as senior associate athletic director/senior woman administrator to accept a job in membership services at the NCAA national office in Indianapolis. She will begin her duties as Associate Director of Membership Services at the NCAA on July 31.
Reep, who recently completed her eighth year in Butler's athletic department, had oversight responsibility for 11 men's and women's athletic teams at Butler, as well as compliance and academic support services for the entire department. She was active on several NCAA national committees, including the Division I Academic/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet and the Division I Championships/Competition Cabinet, as well as numerous subcommittees. She was chair of the Horizon League Championships and Facilities Committee, and served on the league's Television Committee.
Prior to accepting her position at Butler University in August of 1998, Reep served as an athletic administrator at Texas A & M University, the University of Illinois and Arizona State University. She's a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, the National Association of Collegiate Women's Athletic Administrators and the National Association of Academic Advisors.
