*Senior Keely Norris was named to the all-tournament team at the Molten Golden Gate Classic hosted by the University of San Francisco. The Butler middle blocker had 28 kills in three tournament matches, while helping Butler to victories over San Francisco and IP-Ft. Wayne.

*Senior Adam Lafferty had four catches for 56 yards in Butler's football game at Florida International and moved into 10th place on the Bulldogs' all-time list for receiving yards. Lafferty boosted his career total to 1,518 yards and moved ahead of Dave Oliver, 1972-75, on the all-time Butler list.

*Senior Thulio Goncalves and freshman John Mariscalco were named to the all-tournament team at the 2002 Butler University Adam's Mark SoccerFest VII.

*Senior Brad Bennett, who placed fourth at the Great American Legends cross country meet hosted at Purdue on Sept. 7, was named Horizon League Men's Cross Country "Athlete of the Week."
