Julie Arnold serves as the assistant athletic director for compliance and as the Senior Woman Administrator at Butler University. She has been a part of the Butler staff since August of 2003. Arnold serves as Butler's compliance officer and assists with student development for several of Butler's athletic teams.

The former Julie Wooten was a four-year member of the softball team at IUPUI, 1999-2002, where she earned All-America Scholar-Athlete honors. She was a two-year Academic All-Conference pick, and she served as a team co-captain as a senior. In her junior season, she was named an All-America Scholar-Athlete by the National Fastpitch Coaches' Association. She further served as vice-president of IUPUI's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and she was honored as an IUPUI Outstanding Female Leader in both 2001 and 2002.

In addition to her Butler responsibilities, Arnold served as a member of the US Olympic Team Trials - Wrestling ILOC 2003-04, and on the ILOC as a member of the Student-Athlete/Youth Advisory Subcommittee for the 2005 NCAA Women's Final Four.

She was a three-sport athlete in high school - volleyball, basketball and softball. Arnold led her Turkey Run High School team to the 1996 Indiana State Softball Championship. The team finished 26-1 that season, beating Center Grove, 11-7, in the championship game. Turkey Run had an enrollment of approximately 200 that year, winning the championship in one of the final seasons of single-class action.

Arnold served an internship with the Indiana Sports Corporation in ISC's events department from January to August, 2003. She also served as an intern with the United States Tennis Association in 2001.

Arnold earned her B. S. degree in marketing from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in 2002. She was married to Andy Arnold on June 30, 2007.
