Scott Armstrong
Class of 1936: "After my mother and father, the person who had the most positive affect on my life plan was Coach Tony Hinkle," Scott Armstrong said. "The five years, 1932-36 and 1939-40, during which I worked under Coach Hinkle were some of the happiest and productive days of my life." Scott lettered three seasons with the Bulldogs and then played in the National Basketball League (All-Star, 1938). After a brief stint in the U.S Navy, Scott entered into a career in education, during which he coached football, baseball, basketball and track.
