Gambling

In accordance with NCAA rules, Butler student-athletes and athletic department staff members MAY NOT participate in gambling activities of any kind. More specifically, a student-athlete or athletic staff member shall not knowingly:

• provide information to individuals involved in organized gambling activities concerning any intercollegiate athletic competition
• solicit any bet on any intercollegiate team
• accept a bet on any team representing Butler
• participate in any gambling activity that involves intercollegiate athletics or professional athletics through a bookmaker, the use of an on-line gambling service, a parlay card, or any other method employed by organized gambling.
