Scott McDowell was hired as the Assistant Equipment Manager in August of 2012. His duties include ordering/purchasing, inventory and maintenance of team equipment.
McDowell is a 1998 graduate of Indiana University where he studied Sport Marketing and Management. At IU, he was a three-year student manager for the football team. Scott has also worked with several NFL teams as a training camp equipment intern – Colts (’95, ’96), Panthers (’97), Ravens (’98), Buccaneers (’01) and Chargers (’02).
Scott also spent six seasons as Equipment Manager with the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe in Dusseldorf Germany (2000-2005). During that time the Fire appeared in three World Bowls, winning the championship in 2000.
McDowell is a certified Equipment Manager and member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA)
Scott and his wife, Adrienne, reside in Noblesville with their two kids, Carter and Jordan.
