Mike Howell was hired in the summer of 2012 as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Butler University. He is the primary athletic trainer for the women’s soccer and baseball teams. Howell came to Butler after spending two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Bowling Green State University. At BGSU, he was in charge of care for the women’s soccer and baseball teams and he assisted with football. He also taught a therapeutic modalities lab for the BGSU undergraduate athletic training program.
Mike graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. While at Capital he was also a member of the basketball team. In 2012 He earned a master’s degree in kinesiology from BGSU.
