AS A FRESHMAN (2007-08): Swam in sprint and middle distance freestyle events as well as butterfly and backstroke...her 2:35.92 in the 200 fly at the Horizon League Championship was the top mark on the team during the year...added a 1:10.98 in the 100 fly...swam in the 50 (31.10), 100 (1:09.86), 200 (2:26.91) and 500 freestyles (6:16.52) and the 100 backstroke (1:17.28). AT SALEM HIGH: Earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior...conference record-holder in the 500 freestyle...also holds school records in the 50, 100, 200 and 500 free, 100 back, 100 fly and 200 IM...also swam on the school-record settting 200 and 400 free relay teams and the 200 medley relay team...four-year varsity letterwinner...team captain as a junior and senior and team MVP all four years...finished as a sectional finalist in the 500 free as a junior and senior...coached by Teresa Smedley...also ran track and played tennis and golf.
