INDIANAPOLIS - Butler women's swimming hosted a five-team meet Sunday at North Central High School. Ball State won the meet, which served as Senior Day for BU's three seniors, Stephanie Moles, Momo Wilson and Anna Taylor.
The three senior competed in a combined 11 events in their final home meet as Bulldog swimmers. Moles had a busy Sunday, competing in five events. She swam the 200 and 500 freestyles, 200 fly and the 200 medley and 400 free relays. Wilson competed in both breaststroke events and the 200 IM, with her best effort coming in the 200 breast (2:38.45, 7th place). Taylor competed in the 100 and 200 fly and 100 free.
Freshman Kyle Johannsen competed in five events, racking up fifth-place finishes in the mile (18:49.74) and as part of the 200 medley relay. Freshman Nikki Weston competed in four events, highlighted by an eighth-place swim in the 200 IM (2:20.22).
BU has one more meet in the regular season. Butler will face IUPUI and DePauw at DePauw on Feb. 5. The Horizon League Swimming Championships begin on Feb. 24 at UIC.
