Kirsty Legg Leads Butler At Meyo Invite
Complete Meyo Invitational Results
NOTRE DAME, IND. -- Sophomore Kirsty Legg continued her strong
indoor track and field performance with Butler’s top finish
at the Meyo Invitational, which wrapped up at the Loftus Sports
Center at Notre Dame on Saturday, Feb. 5.
Legg placed third in the Women’s Mile Meyo with a time of
4:43.08. Rebecca Addison of Michigan won the race in 4:40.62,
while Emily MacLeod of Michigan State came in second in
4:42.08. Legg’s effort came one week after she broke
her own school record in the mile with a time of 4:41.59 at the
Indiana Relays.
The Bulldogs also picked up a solid performance from sophomore
Katie Clark, who finished fifth in the Women’s 3,000 Seeded
race in 9:33.48.
Senior Justin Roeder led Butler’s men with a fifth place
finish in the Men’s 5,000 in 14:24.96. Former Butler
All-American Rob Mullett placed fourth in the race in 14:23.48.
Freshman Ross Clarke placed eighth in the Men’s Mile Meyo in
4:05.38, while sophomore Craig Jordan came in eighth in the
Men’s 800 Unseeded in 1:53.69.
