Butler Heads To BIG EAST Indoor Championship
The Butler track and field teams are headed to the East Coast this weekend to begin their indoor postseason slate. The Bulldogs will be in New York for the BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Conference Championships on Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 28-March 1).

Butler’s track and field teams opted out of Notre Dame’s Alex Wilson Invitational this weekend and instead sent partial squads to the DePauw Classic indoor meet.

Erik Peterson Named BIG EAST Track Athlete of the Week
Butler reshirt-sophomore Erik Peterson turned in a winning performance at the 2015 Meyo Invitational and his effort earned him BIG EAST Men’s Track Athlete of the Week recognition. He’s the first Butler runner and the second Bulldog overall to be honored by the BIG EAST this season.

Erik Peterson Captures Meyo 3,000 Meter Title
Junior Erik Peterson captured an individual title to lead the Butler track and field teams at the Meyo Invitational, which wrapped up on Saturday (Feb. 7). The two-day meet was hosted by Notre Dame at the Loftus Sports Center.

Bulldogs Perform Well At Indiana Relays
Butler sent several athletes to the Indiana Relays, held at Gladstein Fieldhouse, and each turned in a solid performance in the multi-team meet. The two days of competition wrapped up on Saturday (Jan. 31).

Bulldogs To Compete At Indiana Relays
Butler will return to Bloomington, Indiana, this weekend for the Indiana Relays, hosted by Indiana University. It will be the third trip to Bloomington already this season for the Bulldogs.

Bulldogs Have Track Success In Two Cities
Butler won five events in two cities during a busy day of trtack and field competition on Friday, Jan. 23. Head coach Matt Roe sent athletes to the Gladstein Invitational in Bloomington and the IFPW Mastodon Duals in Fort Wayne, and came away with a strong showing at both meets.
