Butler Posts Solid Marks At Indiana Relays
Butler head coach Matt Roe entered only a partial squad in the Indiana Relays, but the Bulldogs still turned in several solid performances in the two-day meet hosted by Indiana University. Eight different Butler runners claimed a “Top 6” individual finish in the multi-team meet, and one posted a school record!

Rob Mullett, Katie Clark Earn Horizon League Honors
Butler middle distance runners Rob Mullett and Katie Clark have been honored by the Horizon League for their efforts in the mile run at the Gladstein Invitational indoor track meet in Bloomington, Ind., on Friday, Jan. 22. Mullett was named league Male Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, while Clark was selected as the Female Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Butler Turns In Strong Performance At Gladstein Invite
Butler’s track and field squad, in action for the second consecutive week, recorded a school record, a pair of individual wins and several lifetime best performances at the Gladstein Invitational on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 22-23. The two-day invitational meet was hosted by Indiana University at the Gladstein Field House in Bloomington.

Rob Mullett, Lauren McKillop Earn Horizon League Recognition
Butler middle distance standouts Rob Mullett and Lauren McKillop have been honored by the Horizon League for their efforts at the Notre Dame Opener indoor track meet on Friday, Jan. 15. Mullett was named league Male Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, while McKillop was selected as the Female Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Mullett, Lisgo And McKillop Win At Notre Dame Opener
Butler’s track and field squad, back in action for the first time since Dec. 11, came away with three individual titles and a pair of runner-up finishes at the Notre Dame Opener on Friday, Jan. 15. The Bulldogs were among five teams competing in the non-scoring meet at Notre Dame’s Loftus Sports Center.

Rob Mullett Named Horizon League Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Butler senior Rob Mullett, who turned in a strong individual performance in the Bulldogs’ season-opening indoor track and field meet, has been named Horizon League Male Track Athlete of the Week for the period of December 7-13.

Bulldogs Turn In Strong Early Season Performance
Seniors Kris Gauson and Rob Mullett and freshmen Kirsty Legg and Lauren McKillop each picked up individual wins to highlight the performance of Butler’s track and field squad at the Eastern Illinois Early Bird Meet on Friday, Dec. 11. The meet was Butler’s first competition of the indoor track and field season.

Butler Adds Nine Cross Country/Track Recruits
Butler cross country/track coach Matt Roe has added nine recruits to his 2009-10 men’s and women’s rosters and the incoming class figures to have an immediate impact on the Bulldogs’ successful distance program. The newcomers include eight top women, plus one talented male runner.
