A record-breaking performance in the distance medley relay highlighted the performance of the Butler track squad on the first day of the 2009 Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championship at the DePauw Tennis and Track Center in Greencastle on Saturday, Feb. 28. Butler's men finished the first day in third place in the team standings, while Butler's women stood seventh.
Butler's quartet of seniors Andy Baker and Tyler Kos and juniors Joe MacDonald and Steve Lisgo combined for a Horizon League record 9:53.82 finish to capture the distance medley relay.
