THIS WEEK: Butler faces its biggest challenge of the indoor season when it plays host to the Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championship on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 23-24. The league championship meet will be held at DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. Competition on Saturday will begin at 7:30 p.m., while Sunday's action will start at 12 noon. Butler finished third in the men's competition and fourth in the women's league meet a year ago.

HONORED BULLDOG: Senior Justin Young (Peoria, Ill.) was named Horizon League "Men's Track Athlete of the Week" for his performance at the Cannon IV Classic. Young earned provisional qualification for the NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Track and Field Championship by placing third in the 5,000 meter run in 14:04.94 at the Cannon IV Classic. It was a lifetime best time for the Butler All-American, and his effort places him among the top 15 best 5,000 meter performances in the NCAA Division I this spring.
