2005: Finished first at the Horizon League Championships to earn First Team honors. Named Horizon League Cross Country Athlete of the Year. Placed first at the Pre-Nationals and Great Lakes Region Division I Championships. Finished fourth at the NCAA Division I Championships. Was fourth at the Notre Dame Invitational and 10th at the Roy Griak Invitational. 2004: Finished first at the Horizon League Championships. Named Horizon League Athlete of the Year and to the All-League First Team. Sustained broken foot at Great Lakes Region Division I Championship, but finished 45th. Finished 14th at the Roy Griak Invitational. Finished 11th at the Notre Dame Invitational. Also was NCAA Division I National Champion in the 3,000 meter steeple-chase.
