Coach Farley on Feldheiser: "Jamie has been a good strike
thrower for us. We have confidence in him as a long relief or short
relief guy. He works hard and has a solid mental approach on the
mound. He'll have an opportunity to pitch some quality innings for
us in 2009." 2008: Saw action in 15 contests during the year,
starting once...pitched a scoreless 5.0 innings against IPFW (March
25), allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out
three...did not allow an earned run for eight straight innings
against Indiana Tech, Tennessee Tech and IPFW...allowed a run on
two hits in earning the win at Youngstown State on April
19...scored his second win of the year after working 4.2 relief
innings at Valparaiso on April 25...2007: Came out of the bullpen
in eight of his 10 games pitched...earned the win in his second
start of the year, allowing one earned run on five hits in 7.0
innings at Valparaiso (5/1)...tossed a hitless inning of relief at
IPFW (5/9)...High School: Two-year letterwinner as a pitcher at
Norwell High School...earned all-conference honorable mention
honors as a junior and all-area honors as a senior...went 8-2 as a
junior before going 8-0 his senior year, including a
no-hitter...team finished with a 29-2 record, a conference
championship and a 3A runner-up showing his senior season...high
school coach: Kelby Weybright...also lettered one season in soccer
as a goalkeeper...earned conference honorable mention honors as a
