Coach Farley on Dennemann: "Dave had some ups and downs in his
freshman year, but he's starting to show a more mature approach to
the game, which will make him much more effective on the mound. He
has a good fastball and a solid curveball. He's become stronger in
our off-season weight program. We expect him to be a pitcher who
begins to climb towards the top of our staff this year." 2008: Saw
action in seven games, including two as a starter...totaled seven
strikeouts in 10.1 innings of work...picked up a win in relief at
Tennessee Tech (March 16), allowing one hit in a scoreless
inning...struck out five and allowed walks in three innings in his
first collegiate start against Indiana Tech on April 8...High
School: Four-year varsity letterwinner...named First Team
All-Hamilton County and First Team All-Noblesville Ledger...also
earned all-conference honors...helped team to 2006 sectional
championship, the first in the school's history...played summer
baseball for the Indiana Bulls and the Indiana Mustangs...also
