Mike Hoscheit
Coach Farley on Hoscheit: "We were fortunate to pick up Mike
late in the recruiting process after his team played in the state
American Legion finals. He is a solid player with good arm strength
in the outfield and power potential at the plate. Like several of
our other players, Mike was an excellent high school football
player. He is hard-nosed and likes to compete." High School:
All-conference honoree at St. Charles East High School...team
captain...batted .449 with nine home runs, seven doubles and 34 RBI
as a senior...team went 18-14 as a junior and 18-13 as a
senior...also a team captain and all-conference honoree as a member
of the football team...team went 8-2 his junior year and 8-3 his
senior year, earning a conference title in 2007...Personal: Born
