Butler Baseball Players Wrapping Up Summer League Campaigns

Four Bulldog baseball players are putting the finishing touches on another summer league season, as pitchers David Dennemann, Jamie Feldheiser, Mike Hernandez and Jared Wagoner continue to hone their skills in preparation for fall practice.
Dennemann, playing for the North Coast Knights in Lorain, Ohio, helped the squad to a 26-20 regular season record and a first-place finish in the East Division of the Prospect League. The Butler right-hander has appeared in 13 games during the year, going 2-3 with a 3.00 ERA and striking out 33 in 36.0 innings of work.
In the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League, Feldheiser has helped his Grand Lake Mariners squad to a 25-10 overall record and a second-place finish in the standings. The righty boasts a 0.64 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 14.0 innings pitched.
Hernandez has continued to impress while playing for the Waynesboro Generals of the Valley Baseball League, posting a 3.75 ERA with 31 strikeouts and just 11 walks in a team-high 50.1 innings. The team finished the season with 18 wins.
Wagoner has been strong as well as a member of the Waterloo Bucks of the Northwoods League. In 57.2 innings of work, he has struck out 29 batters and boasts a 4.84 ERA.
