Duncan Keys Blue To 4-3 Win In Game 1

Junior Luke Duncan's clutch double in the bottom of the 7th concluded a dramatic 4-3 win for the Blue squad Tuesday night in Game 1 of Butler's Fall World Series. The winning Blue team was coached by volunteer assistant Bobby Segal.

Duncan's line-drive double went into right centerfield. Other notable hits for the Blue came from junior Kevin Crane, sophomore Nick Hladek and freshman Andrew Eckhardt.

The gray team, coached by assistant coach Jeff Brown, was highlighted by the efforts of junior Corey Moylan and a sac fly by sophomore Mike Hoscheit.

Game 2 will be played Wednesday night (Oct. 7) at 7 p.m. Game 3 is set for Friday, Oct. 9 at 5 p.m.
