Blue Team Ties World Series 1-1
A three-run rally in the 6th inning helped push the Blue Team to a 4-3 win over the Gray Wednesday night in Butler baseball's Fall World Series. The series is now tied 1-1.
The Blue, coached by Jeff Brown, found themselves trailing 3-1 before finding three runs. Two of the runs were unearned after a pop-up in shallow right was misplayed.
Catcher Brian Padove was the only Butler batter with two hits, collecting a double and a single.
The Gray Team was coached by Bobby Segal.
Game 3 of the series will be played Friday, Oct. 9 with wooden bats.
