Butler Baseball Update: News And Photo Gallery


Butler baseball recently hosted two successful events at Bulldog Park. On Saturday, Sept. 26, the Bulldogs welcomed players from years past to participate in two alumni games. A photo gallery of the festivities can be found at the link above. Also, BU hosted its annual Homecoming event, Longball In The Fall.

RECRUITING HONORS: In the October 2 edition of Collegiate Baseball News, Butler baseball was cited for its outstanding recruiting class. Butler was the only Horizon League school listed in the honorees, which included Arizona, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Baylor among others schools. BU signed six players for the upcoming season, including San Francisco Giants draft pick Kyle Kramp, Kevin Crane of junior college national champion Parkland J.C. as well as transfers Jack Krause (Triton Junior College) and Corey Moylan (Vermont).

BU FALL WORLD SERIES: This week starts the Butler World Series, a best-of-7 series between teams made up of current BU players. The teams will be coached by assistants Jeff Brown and Bobby Segal. Game #1 will be Tuesday, Oct. 6.
