Butler Baseball Memory
There are so many to choose from! Winning the
Horizon League Tourney in 2000 in Dayton, Ohio takes the cake. All
around Butler baseball memories – we had such a close-knit
team. That was unbelievable. The road trips that kept us together
as a team – Jacksonville, Fla., and Akron, Ohio, to name a
few. All in all, the family atmosphere that we had around the
teams when I was there is something I will never forget.

Family
My wife, Kris, and I have a daughter named Callie
and a son named Tyson. Callie turns 4 in January 2012 and Tyson is
1 and a half. Tyson is working on his swing a lot! Funny story: I
have never seen Tyson so happy as when I gave him his first
baseball bat on his first birthday. I was very proud. Now he
swings it all of the time. We just have to make sure we keep him
away from his sister when he is swinging his bat. I am limiting his
throwing so that he preserves his shoulder and doesn’t need
surgeries like his dad did. Kris and I are expecting our third
child at the end of June.
