2012 - Junior Season: Pitched in 16 games, making two starts...worked 23.2 innings, striking out 15...posted an 0-1 record and one save...pitched a scoreless inning in win over Dayton (March 6)...struck out four over 3.2 innings against Marian (March 14)...pitched 3.0 innings to earn save  vs. Wright State (March 24)...started and worked 2.2 innings at Youngstown State (March 31)...worked 1.1 innings in win over Ball State (April 10)...struck out two in scoreless inning vs. Xavier (April 18).

2011 - Sophomore Season: Appeared in 12 games out of the bullpen, pitching 17.1 innings...had a 2-0 record and 22 strikeouts...pitched 0.2 innings and got a win at USC-Upstate (Feb. 27)...threw a shutout inning vs. IPFW (March 1)...pitched 2.0 innings and struck out four against Bucknell (March 16)...worked 3.0 innings and struck out three at Valparaiso (April 30)...earned the win with 2.0 shutout innings and struck out four at IPFW (May 10)...worked 2.2 innings and struck out four at Cincinnati (May 17)...pitched 2.2 innings in league tourney game vs. Valparaiso (May 25).

2010 - Freshman Season: Made 10 relief appearances, posting a 1-2 record...totaled 13.1 innings with 13 strikeouts...threw a shutout inning and got the win vs. IPFW (March 31)...struck out four over 2.0 innings at UIC (April 9)...pitched a perfect frame and fanned two vs. UIndy (May 4).

High School: Three-year letterwinner who led his team to three consecutive conference titles...went 6-2 with 37 strikeouts in 35 innings as a senior...recorded 3-0 record with one save as a junior...served as team captain his senior year...high school coach: Larry Redwine.

Personal: Born Feb. 25, 1991...son of Keith and Mary Leichty...sister, Maria, plays softball for Butler...business major.
