Paul Panik came to Butler for the 2013 season as a volunteer assistant coach. His primary duties will be to work with Butler's hitting and the team's catchers.
Prior to coming to Butler, Paul was an assistant coach at Western Connecticut State University.
He was the starting catcher at Canisius College, where he was an academic all-conference performer. He received his degree in marketing in 2010.
Paul’s younger brother, Joe, is currently the sixth-ranked minor league prospect in the San Francisco Giants system after signing in the first round as a shortstop in 2011.
