Dennis Kas, a member of the Indiana Baseball Hall of Fame, is in
his second season as a member of Butler's coaching staff. Kas
joined the Bulldogs after a long and successful high school
coaching career in Indiana. He spent nearly a quarter of a century
coaching, first at Clinton Prairie High School and later at
Noblesville High School, and he guided teams to a winning
percentage of nearly 70%! He directed Clinton Prairie to an 89-37
record in five seasons, including three conference titles, two
county championships and two sectional crowns. Kas took over at
Noblesville High School in 1987 and guided the Millers to more than
300 victories, while earning numerous Coach of the Year awards. Kas
also was active in the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches
Association, serving as president in 1991-92. The Anderson
University graduate ('74) was named to the Indiana Baseball Hall of
