Butler-Indiana Tech Baseball Game Postponed

Butler's home baseball game against Indiana Tech on Wednesday, March 17, has been postponed due to the snow storm that moved through Indiana on Tuesday, March 16. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 23, at 3 p.m., at Bulldog Park.

The Bulldogs (4-9) will play a four-game series against IPFW in Fort Wayne on Saturday and Sunday, March 20-21. The doubleheader each day will begin at 1 p.m.


Junior Dale Mueller led Butler with a .429 batting average on the Bulldogs' eight-game spring break trip to Florida. Mueller had nine hits, including four doubles, in 21 trips to the plate. He leads the Bulldogs in hitting on the season with a .419 average.

Junior Jeff Brown and sophomore Andy Bulla each hit a pair of home runs in Florida. Bulla led the team with nine runs batted in on the trip, while Brown had eight RBI's.

Former Butler catcher Tim Marks recently signed a professional contract with the Milwaukee Brewers.
