Butler To Run Parking Shuttle At Ohio State Game
The Butler University Athletic Department will a free parking
shuttle for fans attending the Butler-Ohio State men’s
basketball game on Saturday, Dec. 12. The game at Hinkle
Fieldhouse, featuring two “Top 25” nationally-ranked
teams, is scheduled to start at 12 noon.
Due to the anticipated large crowd, Butler will utilize space at
its varsity athletic fields, located just across the waterway canal
from Hinkle Fieldhouse, for additional free parking. Access
to the varsity fields is through Rocky Ripple, off of Lester
Street.
The shuttle will pick up people at the entrance to the varsity
fields complex, just south of the intersection of 52nd Street and
Lester in Rocky Ripple. The shuttle drop-off will be at the
northeast corner of the Butler Bowl, near the Butler Apartment
Village. From the drop-off, fans can walk to the front of
Hinkle Fieldhouse to enter the game or purchase tickets.
Following the game, fans can meet the shuttle at the Butler Bowl
drop-off area for the ride back to the varsity fields
complex. The shuttle service will begin at 10:15 a.m. on
Saturday, and conclude one hour after the game ends.
Tickets are still available and can be purchased by visiting the
Hinkle Fieldhouse Ticket Office (10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through
Friday), through TicketMaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
DIRECTIONS TO BUTLER’S VARSITY FIELDS
COMPLEX:
Proceed west on 52nd Street past the Butler Tennis Bubble and
Bulldog Park (on the left), over the bridge and into Rocky
Ripple. Turn left at Lester Street (the second cross street)
and follow to the entrance of the Varsity Fields Complex.
