You can be a part of Butler University's first season in the Big East! Season tickets for the 2013-2014 Butler Basketball season are now on sale, featuring 17 games at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Season tickets will be available in seven different price options – starting at just $199, or less than $12 per game. Lower level seats will again be in high demand and are priced at $639 for the season. Mid-level options start at $349 for baseline unpadded seats.
Head Coach Brad Stevens returns 10 letter-winners from last year's team that advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament and finished the season with a 27-9 record and a 14-2 mark at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Seniors Erik Fromm and Khyle Marshall lead the talented group of returners, while the roster will also feature six newcomers hailing from five different states.
The 2013-14 campaign will feature home games against all nine Big East Conference schools: Creighton, DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence, Seton Hall, St. John's, Villanova, and Xavier. Five teams from the Big East (Georgetown, Marquette, Villanova, Creighton, and Butler) advanced to the NCAA Tournament last year. The non-conference home slate will include Vanderbilt out of the SEC, Princeton from the Ivy League and the regular season opener against Lamar.
Season ticket holders will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the Crossroads Classic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Saturday, December 14th when Butler takes on Purdue and Indiana will play Notre Dame.
Ticket orders are being accepted now. Current season ticket holders should expect to receive their order forms next week. Butler Men's Basketball season ticket holders will have a new option available for seat selection at Hinkle Fieldhouse for the 2013-2014 season. In early fall, we will host our first season ticket holder "Select-a-Seat" event. Through this new program, fans will be assigned a day and time, based on their Priority Point total PER SEAT, to come to Hinkle Fieldhouse and select their seat location for the 2013-2014 season. This process allows fans the freedom to look at different available seating options and choose the seats that best suit their needs, while adhering to the Priority Points System. Similar seat selection events are used prominently throughout college athletics. We believe that this method of seat selection is the most authentic and transparent use of the Priority Points System and also grants fans more freedom than ever in choosing great seats in Hinkle Fieldhouse.
In mid-September, fans will receive notification of their assigned date and time to come to Hinkle Fieldhouse and select seats for the 2013-2014 season. Over two weeks in late September/early October, fans will come to Hinkle Fieldhouse at their assigned time and select seats. Available seats will be clearly labeled. Fans who are unable to attend at their assigned time will be allowed to send a substitute in their place or give written notification that specifies their seating preferences. At the fan's assigned selection time, the Butler Athletic administration will assign seats to the fan as close to their written preferences as possible.
