T. J. Saint was named Director of Basketball Operations at Butler in the summer of 2013, after spending two seasons as a graduate assistant on the Bulldogs’ staff. In his new position, he has responsibility for administrative and organizational duties with the Butler basketball program.
Saint joined the Bulldogs in 2011 and spent two seasons handling a variety of duties under head coach Brad Stevens. During his two seasons as a graduate assistant, the Bulldogs compiled a 49-24 record and made two postseason tournament appearances, including a trip to the Round of 32 in the 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.
A former Division I basketball player at Mercer University, Saint spent two seasons, 2009-11, as a student assistant under head coach Rick Byrd at Belmont. He was part of the staff that helped lead Belmont to the 2011 NCAA Tournament. He also boasts experience as a National Skill Development Coach at Pure Sweat Basketball in St. Louis, Mo., as an AAU coach for boys teams in Nashville, Tenn., and Indianapolis, and as a summer camp coach at Butler, Vanderbilt, Texas, Belmont, Santa Clara, Clemson, Oregon and Illinois.
Saint earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration-Marketing from Belmont in 2010 and a Master’s Degree from Butler in 2013.
