Devontae Morgan Departs Butler Basketball Team
Sophomore guard Devontae Morgan has requested and been granted a release from the Butler men’s basketball program, and he will seek to transfer to another school. The 6-3 guard from Tampa, Fla., recently completed his second season with the Bulldogs.

Butler Falls In BIG EAST Opening Round
Butler staged a furious second half comeback, but fell just short and dropped a 51-50 decision to Seton Hall in the opening round of the BIG EAST Tournament Presented by NEW YORK LIFE on Wednesday, March 12. The loss at Madison Square Garden snapped Butler's two-game winning streak and left the Bulldogs with a 14-17 record for the season.

Alex Barlow Earns Top BIG EAST Honor
Butler junor Alex Barlow picked up one of the top four BIG EAST individual honors at a press conference at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, March 12. The Butler point-guard was named BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, just prior to the Bulldogs’ opening game in the BIG EAST Tournament Presented by NEW YORK LIFE.

Bulldogs Face Familiar Foe In BIG EAST Tournament
Butler will make its first appearance in the storied BIG EAST Tournament Presented by NEW YORK LIFE when it faces #8 seed Seton Hall at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, March 12. The 7 p.m. (ET) contest will be the opening game of the 10-team tournament and will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

Dunham, Chrabascz Earn All-BIG EAST Honors
Butler’s duo of Kellen Dunham and Andrew Chrabascz were among 23 players honored on the 2013-14 All-BIG EAST Team, released by the conference office on Sunday, March 9. The all-conference team was chosen by a vote of league head coaches.

Butler Rolls Past Seton Hall
Sophomore Kellen Dunham put on a shooting clinic and helped lift Butler to a 71-54 victory over visiting Seton Hall at Hinkle Fieldhouse in the final regular season game for both teams on Saturday, March 8. The result means the two teams will face each other again in the opening round of the BIG EAST Tournament on Wednesday, March 12.

Butler will play its final 2013-14 regular season home game and jockey for position in the upcoming BIG EAST Tournament when it hosts Seton Hall on Saturday, March 8. The BIG EAST contest will start at 4:30 p.m. (ET) at Hinkle Fieldhouse and will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
