Elijah Brown Signs With Bulldogs
Santa Ana Mater Dei guard Elijah Brown made his commitment to Butler official on Wednesday (April 17). The talented Southern California player signed his letter of intent with the Bulldogs and became the fourth member of Butler’s class of incoming recruits.

It came down to a final shot for the second straight meeting, but this time Marquette survived with a 74-72 victory over Butler in the third round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship at Rupp Arena on Saturday, March 23. The outcome left the Bulldogs with a 27-9 final record.

Butler has advanced to the third round the 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship and will meet Marquette at Rupp Arena on Saturday, March 23. The sixth-seeded Bulldogs, who won their second round game against 11th-seeded Bucknell, will meet third-seeded Marquette at approximately 7:45 p.m. (ET).
