CHICAGO (AP) - Bruce Horan scored 21 points and A.J. Graves had 14 points and five assists as Butler trounced Illinois-Chicago 67-39 in Horizon League action Monday.
Butler (12-8, 5-3 Horizon League) had more than doubled the Flames by halftime, leading 44-20.
Illinois Chicago (10-12, 3-7) shot poorly across the board but was particularly bad from 3-point range, going 0-for-5 in the first half and 1-of-12 overall for just 8.3 percent.
No Flames players reached double figures. Danijel Zoric led Illinois-Chicago scorers with eight points. Othyus Jeffers scored seven points and dished four assists, while Justin Bowen also scored seven points and grabbed six rebounds.
