CLEVELAND (AP) - Brandon Miller hit a game-winning 3-pointer and made shots that forced two overtimes to lead Butler over Cleveland State 79-75 Monday night.
Miller's 23 points included a 3-pointer with 1:11 left in the second overtime that put Butler up 77-75. He added two free throws with one second remaining to seal the win.
Butler (22-4, 12-2 Horizon League) led by 10 with 11:13 to go in the second half, but surrendered a 14-0 run that gave the Vikings a 54-50 lead with 4:25 left.
Cleveland State (8-20, 3-12) widened its lead to six with 46 seconds left. Avery Sheets responded with a 3-pointer, then Miller hit two field goals in the final seven seconds to force overtime.
The Bulldogs fell behind 68-67 in the first overtime, but Miller made a free throw with five seconds left.
Sheets and Duane Lightfoot finished with 14 points each.
Modibo Niakate led Cleveland State with 22 points. Percell Coles had 17.
