Blake Cottingham
2007: Did not play in any varsity games during his first year at
Butler...Personal: Exploratory science major...born 1/28/89...son
of Steve and Jenny Cottingham...High School: Two-year
all-conference quarterback at Ottawa Marquette High School...team
captain and Offensive MVP as a senior...passed for 3,240 yards and
31 touchdowns in final two seasons...tied for 11th in the IHSA
record book with three 300-yard passing games...tied for 13th in
the state record book with seven 200-yard passing efforts...set
school record for passing yards in a season (1,805, 2006),
touchdown passes in a season (16, 2006) and passes completed in a
season (122, 2006)...earned Academic All-State
recognition...received three varsity football letters...High School
