Bulldogs Open Home Schedule Against Taylor
After spending the first two weeks of the season in Ohio, Butler will play its first home football game of 2014 when it hosts Taylor on Saturday, Sept. 20. The non-conference game at the Butler Bowl is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. (ET) kickoff.

Butler will begin its quest for an unprecedented third consecutive Pioneer Football League championship when more than 100 players report for the start of fall camp on Monday, August 11. The Bulldogs will participate in four weeks of preseason drills in preparation for the 2014 season-opener at Wittenberg on Sept. 6.

Butler offensive linemen David Tiwari and Michael Demos were among 28 players named to the 2014 Preseason All-Pioneer Football League Team. The honor squad was released by the league office on Wednesday (July 30).

Butler Tabbed Fourth In PFL Preseason Poll
Defending co-champion Butler was picked to finish fourth in this year’s Pioneer Football League race in the annual preseason poll of league coaches. The Bulldogs received two first place votes and finished behind preseason league favorite San Diego, Dayton and Jacksonville in the poll.
