Butler Slips Past Davidson, 14-7
Quarterback Andrew Huck led Butler on a 98-yard scoring drive late in the fourth quarter to lift the Bulldogs to a 14-7 victory over visiting Davidson in a Pioneer Football League game at the Butler Bowl on Saturday (Oct. 31). The victory boosted Butler to 8-0 on the season for the first time since 1961 and 5-0 in the PFL.

Bulldogs Face Davidson In Halloween Matinee
Halloween at the Butler Bowl won’t involve ghosts, goblins or witches’ brews. It will feature a Pioneer Football League showdown between Butler and visiting Davidson, starting a 12 p.m. (ET). And both teams will be seeking the same treat.

Butler’s normally offensive-minded football squad turned to its defensive unit to help pull out a 23-14 come-from-behind victory over Valparaiso at the Butler Bowl on Saturday (Oct. 17). The victory lifted the Bulldogs to 6-0 on the season and 3-0 in the Pioneer Football League.

Butler, 5-0 for the first time in nearly two decades, returns from a week off to host Pioneer Football League foe Valparaiso on Saturday, Oct. 17. The two Indiana teams will square off at 1 p.m. (ET) at the Butler Bowl in the annual competition for the Hoosier Helmet Trophy.

Butler placekicker David Lang, who converted a clutch, game-winning field goal in the Bulldogs’ Homecoming victory over preseason league favorite San Diego, has been named Pioneer Football League Special Teams Player of the Week.

Bulldogs Upend San Diego On Late Field Goal
Sophomore placekicker David Lang unleashed the biggest field goal of his young career with just 0:01.9 showing on the clock to lift Butler to a dramatic, 25-24, victory over visiting San Diego in front of a Homecoming crowd at the Butler Bowl on Saturday (Oct. 3). The victory moved the Bulldogs to 5-0 on the season for the first time since 1991.
