Bulldogs Win Big Four
Sophomore Joey Arcuri captured medalist honors in a playoff and led Butler to the team title at the Big Four Classic, held at Crooked Stick Golf Club on Tuesday, April 7. The win gave Butler a sweep of the men’s and women’s titles at the one-day meet.

Bulldogs Sweep Butler Spring Invitational Titles
Butler battled snow, cold and 11 other golf teams and came away with a sweep of the men’s and women’s titles at the Butler Spring Invitational, which wrapped up at Prestwick Country Club on Tuesday, March 24. Butler’s men won the championship by eight strokes, while the Butler women posted a 21-stroke win.

Butler Wins Bulldog Florida Invitational
Butler swept the top three spots in the individual competition and ran away with the team title at the four-team Bulldog Florida Invitational, which wrapped up on Thursday, March 12. The 36-hole event was played at Windsor Parke Golf Course in Jacksonville Beach, Fla.

Butler Men Place Second At Benbow Invitational
Senior Logan Holt tied for fourth place in the final individual standings and Butler wound up second in the team race at the Don Benbow Invitational, which wrapped up at Jacksonville Beach Golf Course on Tuesday (March 10). Florida Atlantic won the seven-team men’s tournament.

Bulldogs Place Third At California Tournament
Butler left the cold temperatures in Indiana and opened the spring portion of its 2014-15 men’s golf schedule with a solid showing at the WIU/Carlton Oaks Invitational in California on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 9-10. The Bulldogs wound up third in the six-team tournament at Carlton Oaks Golf Course in Santee, Calif.

Butler Adds Promising Golf Recruits
Butler golf coach Bill Mattingly had a successful fall season on the golf course and an equally successful fall on the recruiting trail. The Butler men’s and women’s coach landed three promising recruits for the 2015-16 season.

Bulldogs Tie For Sixth At Dayton Invitational
Butler landed one “Top 10” individual finish and wound up in a tie for sixth place in the team competition at the 36-hole Dayton Invitational, which wrapped up at the NCR Country Club on Tuesday (Oct. 21). A total of 15 team competed in the two-day tournament.

Bulldogs Finish Fourth At The Butler Invitational
A strong final round performance in the rain at Highland Golf and Country Club lifted the Butler men’s golf team to a fourth place finish in the seven-team Butler Fall Invitational. The 54-hole tournament concluded on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
