Butler finishes eighth at North-South Intercollegiate

Butler's Men's Golf team competed in the North-South Intercollegiate held at Jacksonville Beach Golf Course in Jacksonville, Fla. on March 14 and 15. The team took eighth out of 10 teams with a score of 628.

Trey Server tied for 15th with a 149 while playing individually. Will Turner and Chris Spitler were Butler's top scorers, tying for 27th with a score of 153. Turner shot an 82 on the first day, but came back the next day to shoot a 71. Spitler shot a 74 on the first day and a 79 on the second.

Butler's other three participants also finished in the top 50. Colin Quinn tied for 36th, Abe Mulvihill finished 47th, and Justin Kime tied for 49th.

Michael Craft of Murray State was the individual winner for the men with a score of 136. Murray State also won the team competition with a total score of 568.
