Raynauld, Warren Highlight Men's Tennis Action At Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Benji Raynauld and Bryce Warren finished second in doubles together and Chris Herron and Zach Ervin each went 3-1 for the Butler men's tennis team at the Hoosier Invitational at IU recently.

Raynauld and Warren, who only played once together last season, picked up an 8-4 win over a combo from Indiana and then topped a team from Western Michigan 8-2 to advance to the final.

Herron and Ervin, each playing in the C flight consolation championship, ripped off three straight win in straight sets. The Bulldog players were actually supposed to meet in the consolation final, but were switched in order to get experience against different competition.

Lenz Theodor, last year's No. 6 singles player, also had a solid showing. He defeated All-Horizon League player Ryan Hamning of Cleveland State as well as WMU's Casey Cullen in three sets.

Bulldog tennis continues fall tournament action at Ball State this weekend.
