Butler Tennis Update

The Butler tennis teams have a few announcements as the fall season comes to a close. Both of the teams have announced their schedules. The men's schedule can be found HERE. The women's schedule can be found HERE.

"The men's schedule might be the toughest it's been since I've been at Butler," head coach Jason Suscha said. "The women's schedule also has a lot of challenges. We may try to schedule a few more matches for the women's team if we can."

The men's schedule features five Big Ten opponents as well as regional power Western Michigan. BU will have five home matches, beginning with a contest against Bradley on Friday, Feb. 5.

The women's schedule opens at Indiana on Sunday, Jan. 17 and features five home matches. The home opener is Sunday, Jan. 31 against Illinois State.

ITA UPDATE: Butler will be well-represented at the men's ITA Regional Championships, which run from Oct. 22-25 at Indiana University. Five Bulldogs (Chris Herron, Zach Ervin, Lenz Theodor, Stephen McLoughlin and Andrew Bayliss) will play singles in the tournament, while four different doubles pairs will play: Ben Raynauld/Bryce Warren, Chris Herron/Zach Ervin/Lenz Theodor/Stephen McLoughlin, Andrew Bayliss/Brandon Bayliss.

WOMEN ADD A TOURNAMENT: The Bulldog women have added one more fall tournament to their schedule. They will travel to Ball State to play in a tournament beginning this Saturday at 11 a.m.
