EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Butler men's tennis team fell, 7-0, at Michigan State Saturday afternoon. It was the fifth Big Ten opponent the Bulldogs have played this season.
The Spartans claimed the doubles point with a sweep and won all six singles contests. Junior Brandon Bayliss was the Bulldog who saw the most success. He won the second set 6-3 at No. 4 singles, but would eventually fall in a third-set tie break 7-6 (5). Junior Chris Herron also was competitive, taking both of his sets at No. 1 into tiebreakers.
The Bulldogs travel to Nicholls State in Louisiana Wednesday, March 10.
