Bayliss Leads Bulldogs At Green Bay

GREEN BAY - Senior Brandon Bayliss continued his stellar play, winning at No. 1 singles at Green Bay, but the Phoenix controlled the rest of the match in a 6-1 Green Bay win. Bryce Warren and Chris Herron also picked up a win at No. 1 doubles.

Bayliss defeated Green Bay's Erik Finkenbrink 7-5, 6-4 for BU's lone singles win of the day. The win against the Phoenix's top player was his fifth win in his last six matches at No. 1.

Herron and Warren edged Green Bay duo Craig Cox and Fabian Gogolin in a tie-breaker 8-7 (2). It was an impressive victory considering Warren, who is normally a starter for Butler, has been battling injury.

Butler will take on Youngstown State and Cleveland State at home this weekend.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: Butler's men's tennis match at home vs. Ball State has been moved to April 13 at 3 p.m. It was previously scheduled for April 5.
