Butler Tennis Alumni Day: Message From Coach Suscha

Eleven Butler men's and women's tennis alumni came to campus for the programs' alumni match event. See below to read a thank you message from head coach Jason Suscha.

The men welcomed back six alumni: Shlomo Shemesh ’99, Nathan Johnson ’99, Abel Contreras ’02, Scott Newmark ’07, Evan West ’07, EJ Breitenbach ’08.  The round-robin doubles format ended with the varsity winning five matches and the alumni winning one, with three matches ending in a tie.
 
The women welcomed back five alumni: Pamela Jackson (Rodriguez) ’01, Olivia Pedro ’02, Christina Fugate (Laun) ’04, Kristen Haider ’06, Alaina Keller (Griffin) ’06.  The round-robin format ended with the varsity winning six matches and the alumni winning two, with one match ending in a tie.
 
The weather was fantastic and the tennis wasn’t too bad either.  We want to send out a sincere thank you to all the alumni who made the match and we look forward to it again next fall.
