Ervin Wins At Western Michigan

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Senior Zach Ervin captured an exciting three-set win to lead the Butler men's tennis team in a 6-1 loss at Western Michigan. Down a set, Ervin rallied and pulled out a tight tie-breaker to clinch the victory.

After dropping the first set, Ervin got the second set 6-2. In the third-set breaker, the senior out-lasted WMU's Zeyad Montasser 19-17.

Western Michigan won all three doubles matches for the doubles point and took the other five singles matches in straight sets.

Butler will continue a challenging weekend Saturday, Feb. 18 when it travels to Toledo.
