INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler men's tennis team is off to a great start to the 2014 season as the Bulldogs enter Wednesday's match vs. Indianapolis with a 4-1 overall record. Winners of four-straight, Butler's only setback this year came at No. 5 Ohio State in the regular season opener.

Butler defeated Youngstown State 5-2 after falling to the Buckeyes and a narrow 4-3 win at Dayton got the club above .500. Most recently, Butler defeated Valparaiso 5-2 and Bradley 7-0.

Despite sharing Indianapolis as a hometown, the Bulldogs and Greyhounds have not met on the court for a men's tennis match in over five years. This years' Indianapolis team is also off to a hot start as the Greyhounds are 3-0 with wins over Marian, Tennessee Wesleyan and IUPUI.
