East Lansing, Mich. - Michigan State proved to be too much for the Butler men's tennis team to overcome, as the Spartans dealt the Bulldogs a 7-0 defeat on Saturday (Jan. 12) at the MSU Indoor Facility.
Freshman Brandon Bayliss and senior Sam Brown gave the Bulldogs their only victory on the afternoon at No. 3 doubles, going toe-to-toe with Tyler Sauerbrey and Billy Gardner before winning in a tie-breaker 8-7 (4).
