Dayton, Ohio - Butler notched the doubles point before garnering decisions in the bottom four singles positions to claim a 5-2 victory over host Wright State on Sunday (March 30) afternoon.
The win gives the Bulldogs their third Horizon League win of the year and moves the team to 9-10 overall.
Wright State came back with victories at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, but the Bulldogs earned two-set wins in the final four spots for the match decision.
Herron worked a swift 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 3, Bryce Warren scored a 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 4, Bayliss tallied a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 5 and Brown notched a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 6.
Butler returns to action on Saturday (April 5) when it hosts league foe Youngstown State beginning at 2:00 p.m.
