Columbus, Ohio - The Butler trio of junior Ben Raynauld and sophomores Chris Herron and Bryce Warren concluded their play in the ITA Midwest Regional this weekend in Columbus, Ohio.

The sophomore duo scored the Bulldogs' lone victory of the tournament, as Herron and Warren topped Veron Chari and Gian Hodgson of Wisconsin by a score of 8-2. The run would end in the next round, however, as a combo from Michigan scored an 8-3 decision.

All three Butler players fell short in the first round of the singles qualifier.

Raynauld scored an opening set decision against Xavier's Ra'ees Ismail, but the Musketeer player rallied for close wins in the final two sets to claim a 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 decision.

Warren also picked up a win in his opening set over Ball State's Shaun Bussert before falling short in the final sets of a 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 match.

Herron, meanwhile, fell to Tommy McGeorge of Iowa in the opening round by a 6-4, 6-2 count.
