Alex Webster, who is in her second season with the Bulldogs, joined Beth Couture's staff after spending three seasons at IPFW, including the last two as the top assistant on the staff. While at IPFW, the Crown Point, Ind., native oversaw recruiting and scouting while assisting with game plans and practice. Webster's primary responsibility is serving as Butler's recruiting coordinator.
As a player, she was three-year letterwinner at Green Bay, helping the team to a 79-15 record and three postseason appearances. During her senior season in 2007, she helped the Phoenix to a 29-4 record and a berth in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. While at Green Bay, she also won the team’s Beth Gantz Award for leadership and sportsmanship.
Webster, who began her collegiate career at Southern Mississippi, earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics at Green Bay in 2007.
