Butler women's basketball coach Beth Couture and her staff will be very busy this weekend at the NCAA Women's Final Four in Denver. Couture will be involved with a promotion with a Final Four coach and she and her staff will be conducting a clinic.
Couture will be a featured guest on Shootaround, which is a podcast produced by Debbie Antonelli and Beth Mowins. During the Final Four, Shootaround will be produced live and feature four "Beths" who will interview each of the four Final Four coaches. Couture will have be paired on the program with Stanford's Tara VanDerveer.
The other "Beth" interviewers participating in Shootaround are Beth Burns (San Diego State), Beth Cunningham (VCU) and Beth Bass, CEO of the WBCA.
The Bulldog coaching staff - with associate coach Amy Cherubini and assistant coaches Tisha Hill and Ashley Hayes - will also be conducting a clinic for the Special Olympics. It will be held at the Denver Convention Center.
Baylor, Connecticut, Stanford and Notre Dame are the four remaining team in women's college basketball. The Final Four will be played Sunday, April 1 and the championship is Tuesday, April 3.
